ZICOS is new experiment of neutrinoless double beta decay (0$\nu\beta\beta$) search using $^{96}$Zr isotope. We have developed a liquid scintillator containing a tetrakis (isopropyl acetoacetato) zirconium (Zr(iPrac)4), and the performance of our liquid scintillator is that a light yield is $48.7 \pm 7.1$% relative to BC505, and an energy resolution is $2.6 \pm 0.5$% at 3.35MeV assuming 64%...

The question whether neutrino has Majorana mass or not is a key to solve the mystery of the matter dominant universe. Measurement neutrinoless double-beta decay ($0\nu\beta\beta$) is the only realistic way to answer the question. To fully answer the question, it is desired to realize an experiment nearly free from background with ton-scale target mass. AXEL is a high pressure Xe gas TPC being...

The search for neutrinoless double beta decay could cast light on one critical piece missing in our knowledge i.e. the nature of the neutrino mass. Its observation is indeed the most sensitive experimental way to prove that neutrino is a Majorana particle. The observation of such a potentially rare process demands a detector with an excellent energy resolution, an extremely low radioactivity...

The R&D of new type of liquid xenon detector is ongoing for the neutrinoless double beta decay ($0\nu2\beta$) search. As a result of KamLAND-Zen type experiment, it is very important to realize the all active region detector for radiation. In addition, if we can develop additional BG reduction technique in all active region detector, it is very useful for improving the sensitivity of...

The neutrino oscillation measurement program of Hyper-K requires unprecedented accuracy for the modeling of neutrino fluxes and neutrino-nucleus interaction cross sections. The Hyper-K experiment will include a suite of near detectors to control systematic uncertainties on neutrino flux and interaction models. In this talk we will describe the baseline Hyper-K near detector suite, which...
